The Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club welcomes back to its sailing calendar, after a break of 103 years, The Sorrento Regatta, featuring The Peroni Sorrento Cup, over the weekend of 4th & 5th February 2017. This prestigious race was first sailed in 1892 in the waters off Sorrento, until 1914 when it ceased due to the commencement of WWI. SSCBC is fortunate to have the original silver cup, which has been loaned to the club from the family of Erland Erlandsen, who was one of the winners of this coveted prize.
